What this is about
These terms apply to the use of the website hakone-tour.com. Hakone Tour is an independent guide to visiting Hakone in Japan, with day tours from Tokyo, hot springs, museums, the mountain railway and the old Tokaido road. We do not sell tours, tickets, rooms or transport ourselves.
Who sells your tour
If you book a tour through one of our links, you enter into the contract on the GetYourGuide website with GetYourGuide or with the respective tour operator. Their terms and conditions apply. They are responsible for the tour, payments, rebookings, and cancellations, not we.
Prices and availability
Prices on this website are starting prices and are for orientation only. If you convert them into another currency, we use reference rates from the European Central Bank; the result is an approximate value. Only the price and availability shown by GetYourGuide before booking are binding.
Weather, Views and Timetables
A day in Hakone depends on the weather and the season. Cloud can hide Mount Fuji all day, wind or volcanic gas can stop a ropeway, heavy rain can halt a mountain railway, and holiday traffic can make a coach late or shorten a stop. No one can promise a view, a particular train or a dry afternoon. Which route, transport and stops you get is set by the listing you book and by its operator, so read its details before you pay, and check the operators' service notices and the forecast before you set off.
